Welcome back! Awesome review as always! It's shocking how well this game still looks even 20+ years later. Bravo Sega! And even though I enjoy them, I hope we'll see a non "online" Phantasy Star in the near future.

Freaking fantastic! I'm way impressed by the graphics of the sega master system. I'm going to have to play these Phantasy Star games one of these days. Well done, man.

Dude, this review was awesome and inspiring. I have always been a huge sega fan since I got my genesis when I was 5 years old in 1990. I discovered Phantasy Star II much later and also played Phantasy Star Online on my Dreamcast in middle school. I have to saw that your depiction of the lore and charm of the original game is what I love most about this underrated RPG series, it truly was ahead of its time and PSO remains the only MMO I will ever play to this day!
