70's because the team was a joke. But since then the team has been good, very good. The Steelers have played in 8 of the last 35 Superbowls, or 1 out of 4 and change. Since pro football has become as big as it is The Men of Steel have been a constant contender, well a few teams from the 80's were not top knotch. I'm gratefull that it's the way it is. I can't imagine if the team was a Seatle, that would just suck. And yes we take great pride in our teams, we always will. Its just how we are wire

@MrMojoRisin53 I don't remember much complaining about losing the Superbowl last year, I think from years past that we were the most gracefull losers. The Pack is a respected francise, more then the Black and Gold. We are fundamentally hated in Cleveland, Baltimore and Cincy. Why is beond me, we have some of the most gracefull players.
