The Expendables was Sex in the City for dudes. Little to no plot, and male bonding, but with explosions and blood.

Hilarious cat cameo! I have two cats and that is a damn cut kittie! I did not like the movie. I love the cast, particularly Eric Roberts, Stallone, Statham, Li and Dolph. Roberts had some great, corny dialogue. Great to see this Oscar Nominated Actor working again. The movies had unnesisarily crappy dialogue and plotting--why are they going, again? No clear drive for all of them. I don't reccomend.

@QuatermassMan Yeah, the film is just....yeah, it's there for explosions. The deeper meaning of Stallone going back for the girl to redeem his own tortured soul is...stretching at best.

If Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme, and Jackie Chan had been in this instead of Statham and Li, it would have been a must see

@Hologram1357 I do enjoy those guys too! As it was, there were so many it was hard for any to get screen time or significant fight scenes.
