It is sad that people still to this day try to pin the blame on each other. We are all guilty, why else would the call it a world war? I also feel horrible for what we did.
@DonHamburger reason for this is becauselots of Americans know that japan hasn't apologized for their war crimes agaisnt China and other asian countries they killled. That why most Americans feel no remorse about it. Including me.
The entire point of war is to kill as many people as possible in order to force your enemy to surrender. These two bombs finished a bloody war in which 30 million people had already died. Women, children, the elderly, and soldiers. Do I feel compassion for the people who just wanted to live their lives in peace? Of course. Do I feel sorry that we used these bombs to end a futile, bloody war? Not in the least.
Until the Japanese Government and people have the courage in acknowledgeing the behaviour in slaughtering thousands during the China invasion, the butchering of POW's and mass murder of Malayan and Philipino people then there is no sympathy for what happened to them. The Japanese committed horrible crimes in the 1930's and 1940's and today still refuse to accept responsibility for their actions. They continue to honour their war criminals and they should be ashamed. Shame on Japan.
this saddened me greatly wen i went there..... i was alittle hesitant of goin in that museum coz i knew i wuld b really sad but i did in the end n will neva forget it...
war doesnt justify anything but in my eyes i belive the atomic bomb saved many more lives then what it took if we had to invade knowing the japaness would fight for every inch and sacrafice themselfs for there homeland
Thanks for posting this.
