Yay, 100 views! Some things seem to be missing, as I may have saved the original project after making it shorter for the presentation. One thing that is missing is the comparison in medullary bone of theropods and birds, meaning theropods grew at a rate similar to birds than reptiles. Another that is missing is the frame shift that means that the digits on birds that appear to be 2, 3, 4 are actually digits 1, 2, 3 like in theropods. Also, the last few seconds and last word, "mind," in the second song were cut off when I shortened the time of one of the slides and there are a couple typos that escaped my eagle eyes. OOPS!

I was assigned a literary review for my biological principles II class and the topic I chose was "Evidence Supporting that Birds Evolved from Theropods." This subject topic is one that has interested me ever since childhood. We had to find 15 peer-reviewed articles about our topic and group them into catagories and write a summary of each catagory, citing each article in said summary. Them we had to write a summary of the whole thing, include the history of the study, what we (as a society) have learned and areas for further research.
The numbers in the slides correspon to the citations in my literary review and at the end of the video in the credits. I made it into this powerpoint presentation and volunteered to be a presenter in my college's Student Research Conference this year. I had to condense it because of the 5-minute time frame, but this is the entire project as it was intended to be. Also, some things may seem thrown in for no reason or otherwise oddly placed or worded, such as the Jurassic park slide. This project was intended to go along with me talking and using this for visual aid. The Jurassic Park slide was intended to inform the audience that they were likely familiar with some theropods already, even if they were misrepresentations.
As stated in the credits, the music by Last November were used with permission. I got permission to use their music back when my group made our metapatterns video.
Anyone can feel free to make comments on the issue, for or against it; I'm fine with that. But if you are going to disagree, you better be prepared with scientifically backed-up evidence or your claim has no credibility. Or you can simply state that you disagree.
