Again, wrong. FingerWorks thought of it well before Mitsubishi, and Pierre Wellner before that.

The GUI was NOT thought up by XEROX, but rather by many before them, including Douglas Englebart, inventor of the mouse, at SRI in the 1960s.

And the use of the desktop metaphor to replace file system interactions most certainly WAS thought up by Apple.

Again, I was a user of the XEROX system in question.

What "Samsung technology" is that? Samsung manufactures the retina display to spec. The technology is Apples's which is why they are now having Sharp produce their panels. The processor was designed in-house at Apple by the former P.A. Semi unit, and was NOT designed by Samsung. The list goes on and one. What Samsung tech are you talking about?

Sorry, again, you are just misinformed, which a few seconds of research might have shown you had you bothered to do so, rather than jump onto the keyboard. Pinching motions were first detailed for UI touch interfaces in 1991 by Pierre Wellner in his paper on his "Digital Desk", and further developed in the late 1990s by FingerWorks. Mitsubishi had NOTHING to do with its development.

You could say "it's (Diamond Touch) the first iteration of it". But you'd be wrong.
