This is footage from a pre-conference meeting concerning how the G9 (now G10) - a coalition of organizations that support elected black officials - can work with the AIDS community to help raise awareness about the HIV/AIDS epidemic and its impact in communities of color. This meeting was held before the 2007 United States Conference on AIDS (USCA), in Palm Springs, CA.

The 2008 United States Conference on AIDS (USCA) took place September 18-21, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, at Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. Since 1997, USCA, the largest annual HIV/AIDS meeting in the United States, has strengthened the domestic community-based response to HIV/AIDS by bringing together professionals from across the country to learn new skills and build partnerships and collaborations.
