It is widely assumed that creative thought involves selecting from amongst a set of well-formed, predefined candidate ideas. Liane Gabora will introduce an alternative, referred to as the 'honing theory of creativity'.

This semester, "Defining Cognitive Science" presents 5 diverse researchers sharing their work under the series banner: Women in Cognitive Science.
Presented by the Cognitive Science Program, Simon Fraser University.
