It is insane to build apartments with wood, sprinkler systems be damned, they do not work after an earthquake when you are most likely to need them. I trust Richmond will do the right thing and change the code to concrete. I would not live in a woodframe apartment block. Wood frame buildings are noisy, prone to rotting and fire.

ggod video i was on the 640 ladner exchange bus and was on river road and i could see the flames in the air from way across the water and than even further....i looked over and saw the sky lite up and realized i could see the flames and the whole sky was filled wirth smoke...... great job catching this.....

@pokepokemike69 I drove by at 10pm and there was nothing out of the ordinary. I head home at 10:45pm and i see this maaaasssive fire and i just had to take a look. coincidentally, i had my camera on me :)
