for the tits comparing who learned php the most 1337 way; I learned php by downloading already made scripts, reading the code, and searching for functions on php.net to see what it all did.
btw, wamp > xampp on windows. it does not include an ftp server, but who the fuck needs that for learning php on a local machine? for all the useless shit xampp includes, I only see a potential for confusion with novice web developers.
