This animation is made by taking 12 pictures of an action and placing them in a 24fps animation. The photos are edited in Photo Shop using the basic filters that are provided. The steps taken to create such an effect in this animation are 1- duplicating 2 times the origin image 2- the bottom layer its contrast is set to 100% and then is passed through the filter Rough Pastels. The settings of the filter is Stroke Length 0 / Stroke Detail 20 / Texture Canvas / Scaling 100/ Relief 10/ Light-Top Right. 3- The top layer is altered by uplifting its contrast to 100% then set to black and white and once more adjust the brightness to 80% and the contrast to 100 and then rough trough the filter Rough Pastels at the same settings as the bottom layer. 4. Set the top layer a blending mode of dark color to erase the white in the image. When passing this image in adobie After Effects you need to set an adjustment layer and give it a blur property. :D
