With a $120,000 prize pool and the National Championship on the line, we all knew that Providence was going to be huge. And the player field may have exceeded even the most optimistic person's expectations. The Open Bracket will feature 256 players hoping to earn a spot in the coveted Championship Bracket for a shot at $50,000, and it's by far the most talented field we've seen to date.
The Open Bracket in Providence will feature 11 Korean Code S veterans, including two former Champions. With the lineup as amazing as it is in Providence, expect to see more matches of that magnitude on Saturday night, and the most stacked field we've seen on the Pro Circuit heading into Championship Sunday.
From Naniwa's undefeated run to Goswser's upset of a GSL champion, this Season's Open Bracket play has offered some of the best moments and exciting action on the Pro Circuit. The field is deeper and the stakes are higher than ever before in Providence, so expect some of the best play, historic matchups and shocking upsets that we've ever seen on the Pro Circuit.
