This song is one among the few masterpieces of Ilayaraja. The song is composed by 3 notes SA-RE-GA in carnatic & C,D,E in western. See how catchy the tune is...marvelous! Also see his orchestration.

  • @millions1022 - This is absolutely laughable. Nandalala's background score is something which Indian cinema hasn't seen before. And don't even compare Rehman to Raaja. Rehman has done 100 movies in 19 years of career, with a lot of tune schuffles, copying etc. Raaja did 600 movies in 15 years with everything being original. Raaja is an everest and Rehman is probably a mole hill

  • Oh my god !

this proof is enough to state tat Gods dont exist in Temples alone ! :-)

  • @athreyaa Btw you mentioned all of illayaraja's were orignial right? search for copycat-illayaraja in youtube, you'll change your opinion

  • @athreyaa What? OMG!..seriously? I dont see this taking us anywhere...

You can never convince me that Raja is better than rahman, I know the fact. so lets kills this here..I got better things to do..bye...

  • @miamyguy - A - Im not lying. B. My carnatic background is as good as my western music background. C. When did you watch Guna lastly? How old were you? What can you recall of the music? Do you remember the lead BGM before Paartha Vizhi Paarthabadi song and the conclusion after that?

  • @athreyaa It a mix of feelings...Love, Hate, Betrayal, arrogance, Rustic Nature of the forest, its toughness, serenity and what not. And do remember unlike guna, raavan was a bilingual, it should be appealing to people beyond the vindyas as well. No wonder ppl like you with carnatic bg couldn't recall any music from raavan (though I know you're lying) Guna? Hee..Hee sorry I couldn't help myself but laugh.

  • @miamyguy - Ofcourse not. But appreciation is different from analysis. I barely recall any music from Raavan but remember every note from Guna. See - What we need to understand is, appreciation and feeling good is subjective. But while comparing the music of two musicians, one need to be objective. So can we leave the subjectivities behind and try to objectively analyse their music? Can you tell me what was ARR conveying when he did the background scores and songs for Raavan?

  • @athreyaa You dont have to go to fancy school to appreciate good music..I didn't go to none...

Raavan & guna? Sure I prefer raavan over guna...I barely recall any music from guna..

  • @miamyguy - I didnt say you showed commercial reasons. I just clarified that if we debate, do not show commercial reasons. The numbers argument is incorrect because I clearly said 600 films in 15 years and all of them are original. Deva's music is never original. Im a trained musician in carnatic and western classical music. Studied for sometime with a famed music college in the US. Can we start with comparing ARR and IR's movies with similar story lines? How about Raavan and Guna?

  • @athreyaa I showed commercial reasons? cmon.. it was you who showed numbers.. 600 films blah...blah...You wanna debate? Sure..why dont you start showin me some examples? Btw what r ur musical credentials?

  • @miamyguy - Dear Sir - By resorting to insults, you are showing that you are charged emotionally and not approaching the arguement intellectually. What are your musical credentials? If you wanna argue, I am open to a debate. Lets take examples, and show me how Rehman is musically superior to Illayaraja. Dont show commercial reasons or the awards he has got etc. I need musical examples. I can show countless examples of why Illayaraja is GOD. Do you have the guts to accept my challenge?
