In February 2009 we sat down with Assistant Vice President and Economist Bill Emmons of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis to talk about his opinion of the stimulus package. Here Dr. Emmons talks about other possible effects of the stimulus plan—besides financial help for the economy, Dr. Emmons believes the stimulus plan plays an important role in making sure everyone takes the economic situation seriously so we can hopefully move through the recession more quickly.
