@ItalianBandit its actually quite common, thats how much lightning will strike in a storm system. think about how high up they are and the true distance between each strike on the surface

I never knew there were that much lightning going on in Earth every second! There is a ton more than that on the Earth, because we are just looking at one side of the Earth. This is so cool!

@ItalianBandit yeah.... but its is spread over a very large area... if you were down there you would have experienced it as a typical thunderstorm....
