Great song, easy and fun dance, especially when a well endowed lass is jumping up and down. But I could never understand why we Jews (I am on my mother's side) have such simple dances and nothing more elaborate. It must be the rotten feet we have - you know, from the 40 years of wandering in the desert.

@markjaws1 I like to think its because of our simple, rustic, connected-to-the-earth nature. After all, for those of you who don't/can't speak Hebrew, the words to this song are about water. Nothing esoteric or spiritual here, just the basic necessity for life: water.
