It's a shame that that wonderful puppet was wasted on an awful audrey II voice
-
Next time we do the show I'll make sure you have an opportunity to try out for the part.

Nice puppet
-
that puppet is INTENSE... really nice performance
-
The puppet was impressive. Until it leaned down and PICKED MUSHNIK CLEAN OFF THE GROUND. Then it became a master piece. GODDAMN.
-
wow great audrey!

I was the Audrey II puppeteer for the third and fourth pods this summer for the Kaleidoscope Players.
-
That Mushnik sounded like a bad impersonation of Christopher Walken, but the plant puppet was really good!
-
The plant sang awful. Sorry.
Damn, that's one impressive puppet for a stage show. And this is really well acted! I wish I could see a stage version Little Shop.
Um... does Mushnik not notice the 30 foot tall plant behind him singing?

Thanks for the nice comments. The thing with Mushnik and the singing plant is called "suspension of disbelief." It's something we all do without trying up until the age of twelve . . .

If it makes Alison feel better, he can imagine the plant whispering to Seymour instead...
But wow...that IS a massively impressive A2 puppet...the rigging necessary to lift Mushnik off the stage and swallow him must have been tricky to rig up.

No aerial rigging is involved. It's all human power and leverage.

I'm sure it was -- but I'm amazed that you were in the audience for our 2004 community theater production too . . .
