Referred to as "the Julliard of the West", the Colburn School is a performing arts academy designed to refine the performance skills of emerging artists. The most advanced of the Colburn School's ensembles, the Colburn Chamber Orchestra is a string orchestra that performs professional-level repertoire. The members of CCO are musical prodigies who display a talent in music that makes them competitive with professional adult musicians.
