They are three-and-a-half weeks old here. The puffed millet seems tasty.

Music is is J.S. Bach - Concerto for harpsichord, strings & continuo No. 1 in D minor, BWV 1052: Allegro

  • Not trying to be rude but rats should not be in cages with metal floors like that. For short times its fine but walking all over that all day will cause them to have bumblefeet and will cause them alot of pain.

  • @amber603sunday no prob, usually the bottom was lined entirely with fleece. they end up moving the fleece in some parts though (even taking them off the clips), so the part you see in the vid was the part that became uncovered. Many people believe that bumblefoot was caused by wire cage floors, but that has not been demonstrated scientifically. Even rats on solid flooring can get bumblefoot.

  • hey can you tell me what the name of that song is? Thanx :D

  • Aaaw, so cute!!!! When i 1st got my 5 week old dumbos, they were so little they would both sit in the bowl! Now, they are twice the size of the bowl.....

  • @EveryoneEatsShit

    That's just mean

  • @soysauceandgarlic a lil late, but bumblefoot is caused by even a small scratch on the foot becoming infected. Wire cages are just sketchier. If you dont want to get a new cage, find a spare board of wood and fit it to the bottom, then cover it with fleece and fold the excess fabric under the board. Your ratties won't be able to tear it up :) unless they're hardcore diggers and rip holes in random spots.

  • I love how dumbo rat's ears wobble as they eat, it looks so adorable!
