When I was growing up I loved Motown hits on the odlies station the best, evne though I didn't know what it was abou them I liked so much. After 5 years of classical. upright bass, I switched to electric and my old teach gave me "Standing in the Shadows of Motown" ...the reason I loved those songs so much growing up was bass, it was Jamerson all along, before I even knew what a bass was!
