It seems like we have to constantly discuss this as if its the end.As far as I see it,the The You Tube Community Lives on.
I have absolutely nothing against those who use tricks to become popular.
We shouldn't make this into something where we point the finger at more popular youtubers simple because they played the game in order to make money. You Tube could change but at this point I truly doubt it,but that will not keep me from continuing to make videos that I enjoy making,as well despite what anybody thinks of me.

i started out the same way you did and i am here for the same reasons you are but honestly i wouldn't mind it if i could reach more people in the proccess I don't care about the money part of it but honestly i would like the ability to customize and change my page the way i see fit and it honestly should be that way from the start but since it's not i'd like to get enough of an audience to get you tube's attention to let me do what i'd like to with my channel. that's my ONLY goal at the moment

@daddytech I've reach more people without anything that partnership offers or getting featured. I have lots of great friends. I have a few that they're partnered and getting some decent exposure that I could easily ask them to throw me a bone so I can get a lil bit of that exposure. But I don't because I'm happy with the way things are now.

@daddytech As for customization of my channel,its not worth me complaining about because I understand that a partner should have some extra options because they've earned it. But don't get me wrong,I would like to have some of the other options,but I really just don't care enough for them. And if that's really your goal than good luck on achieving your goals.

@Myfkduplilworld well i know one thing that comes with partnership people take you more serious and are a little quicker to respond to messages and such for things like colabs and that's one of the main things i am looking at for later its more of a dream to work with others than anything

@daddytech Well people would have to take you seriously not partnered in order to become partnered. The content that you make should be evidence of how people should interpret you,not banners,ads, and a couple of customizable tools. Your type of content is also a glimpse of if anybody wants to collab.

I just want to say this: If the Open Letter video had not been made, I would not have found you. And I would have missed out on an important and interesting piece of YouTube.

It is the little pieces of YouTube, the videos of people seeing snow for the first time or stressing out over exams or succeeding at something, that make YouTube interesting. The big channels just make it entertaining.

It is that interesting part that is dying because it is so hard to find now.

@Myfkduplilworld Let me try that again haha while most people would get bored of it and I am sure everyone would tune into watching the newer content if it was promoted it still is not deniable that the general population is pretty... nooby I doubt they will get bored soon even though I hope they do so youtube itself can grow. I said in my video on this that google should still promote smaller youtuber they would make more money.. but youtube is playing it safe entertaining the noobs.

@Myfkduplilworld I am too tired to know what you mean by that.... major fail but I still want to try to respond now before I forget lol I think you mean that the popular videos now still might die out? They will eventually obviously but it does not seem like too many people are getting bored of the same thing.
