Don't even get me started on his defense of bestiality.

This video is not a statement against FILESHARING. It is a statement against using filesharing to obtain things which are supposed to be paid for.

  • Dear Mike Lombardo,

How can I become your friend?

  • Well done, you laid the smackdown on a poor argument. Unfortunately that doesn't mean there isn't a sustainable argument out there.

One example of many: Without file sharing there are many artists I wouldn't support at all, because I'm not going to pay for an album before I know whether I like them, and samples don't always convince me. I have actually bought *more* albums due to file sharing's existence. Some of that was via friends, but that's also, as you know, illegal.

  • @dwood2001 This is why I stream all my music free on my website. People can listen as much as they want before they decide to buy it. Phillip is arguing that no artists should EVER be paid.

  • you rock so hard. funny how the ones who argue for illegal downloading are the ones who don't make a living selling/writing/performing music.

  • besides the fact that your whole argument just awesome, i just noticed the "there are no ads on this video" bit. you, sir, are my hero.

  • BOOM.

I think we know who just one that one Philip.

    Mike, you're awesome.

  • whoever wrote that blog should get the shit kicked out of them, fucking communist loser. Mike Lombardo destroyed that loser

  • I just fell in love with you.

  • You have forced me to buy your music.

It has become something I need to get through the day.

Damn you Mike Lombardo, you are a drug I must obtain.

    :)

  • An intelligent and insightful response, Mike ... well done!

  • I buy all your music just saying! ur my favourite musician and i love you! :)

  • The problem is most people don't agree with you, they just don't think they're doing anything wrong, even when you show them that they are. There's no point in touring to promote music that no-one's going to buy, so why bother when it costs so fucking much to do it? I'm staying away from the music industry for that very reason. Some of the artists that are in it just for the money will survive this thing, but not much else will, unless things change. And now the recession as well... It's fucked.

  • I love how you owned him at the end. Great job, man!
