Well, you level up by yourself to get better equipment and stuff. But you can make the computer any level you want ranging from 1-100. When you're lvl 100, u can fight a lvl 105. Im not sure, but i think 105's the max you can face. Oh, and the exp you need to lvl, you get by pressing square, the hp atk. The higher the lvl you're facing the more exp u'll get. ope i helped ^_^
