Holiday Memories - Ms Independence & The White Knights

This video was a special look back on the special memories Madalyn aka Ms Independence has had over the last few Christmas holidays.

I began The White Knight Winter Gala four years ago this December with the dream of bringing the community together in the spirit of the holidays. This was based on real life memories and moments shared and the dream of sharing what the holidays are really about with the people on City of Heroes who have come to mean so much.

In 2006, my husband and I lost his mother to breast cancer and I was not in a mental place to plan the event. Lord Paladin who has played Ms Independence's husband for several years told me he didn't want me to have to worry or stress over planning the event and worked with Ara and the Angry Angels, another fantastic group on City of Heroes Virtue server as a surprise for me and put together another White Knight Winter Gala.

As the leader of the White Knights, I would like to take this opportunity as I did last year to honor Ara and the Angry Angels and all those helped her, who went above and beyond to help in keeping a dream of mine alive. They had real angels watching over them and smiling down at them. Thank you Ara!

I hope if you play City of Heroes, I hope we see you this holiday season on the Virtue Server!
