yes but you will need thicker strings if your tuning down as here.

Ok, I`m completely lost here. Some help please. I only know how to tune to the standard method learned in my crib as a baby. Can different tuning be done on an electronic tuner and if so how?

privett, when you go to 10,5,3 frets is that a G chord using the top and bottom strings only?
