@twentyone222 Hamilton appeafrs to have gone backwards since 2007. He surely should have got closer to Vettel than the standings suggest, and shouldn't be beaten by Button in the same car, or by Alonso in a slower Ferrari.

It's not just the car, Vettel's dominance is a combination of the car, himself and the team. Red Bull are the new generation, they work differently to the other teams and it clearly works. The massive difference between Webber and Vettel is down to the Pirelli tyres, Vettel is able to get more out of them and look after them much better than Webber, these things added to Vettel's consistency is what made him so successful. If it was only the car Webber would have finished 2nd in 2011...
