The difference between the stereo memory man hazarai pedal and the boss looper pedals is this one can loop in all of the pedals' delay modes. You can create some very cool ambient guitar sounds by just playing a few notes in a delay mode while looping it at the same time. Then you can change modes or settings, and then loop over it more and more. I love the Stereo memory man hazarai pedal by electro harmonix!

I can't believe no one has commented on this yet. I was specifically looking for SMMW/H demos using the loops feature, and this was right near the top.
