Nice. What cam do you have?

It's just the stock cam. It's got 1.7 ratio Crane gold race rockers though, and I think that's where most of the lump comes from. I was actually pretty surprised when it sounded like that.

@sylentmyst Not true. Valve overlap is what causes a lopey idle in a cam. Several factors that determine valve overlap are duration, lobe separation angle and ramp design. Lift does not cause a cam to lope.

@srvanddt1 The larger ratio rocker arms make the valves travel further, so it acts like a larger cam. Actually I do believe the January 2011 issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords had an article in it about that exact same swap. The stock rockers are a 1.6, and they gained like 15hp/10tq off of changing them to 1.7.

@vetteboywildandfree all 94 and 95 Mustang GT's and Cobra's came with a 5.0. My 94 cobra is pushing 500hp at the crank

1.7 rocker arms do not give you the lope sound. You have a cam in it and you know it. Stock my butt!!
