What does a drummer know about advertising? A lot, it seems. Excerpts from the talk on listening and creativity through collaboration which drumming legend Bill Bruford (of Yes, Genesis and King Crimson fame) gave at the leading London creative agency Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw in 2010.

    it doesn't matter if the notes are the same, . . as long it affects you.

    But acheiving that doesn't happen that much, with any music.
