Catch Me (A Nick Jonas Love Story) Chapter 27

*Joe's POV*
"I love you Alexa." I said as I hugged her tighter, if even possible.
"Love you too Joey." She kissed my nose and nuzzled into my neck.
"Come on, I'll get you home." I walked her to my car and sped off.

*Nick's POV*
I sat on my bed after walking home.
Yeah, I don't own a car. I borrow from Kevin occasionally. Never Joe. His back seat is very... uh, lets just say unsanitary. I don't even want to think about how many girls he had in there.
Sick thought.
I'm going to clear my mind now.

I went downstairs to find Joe coming in.
"Dude, we have to talk." He said.
"What?"
"Why are you so buddy buddy with Lexy? You never were before. It's like you LIKE her."
"We're just in a lot of classes together. I swear, I don't like her."
"Just try not to get people to think you are, I'm sick of these rumors when I'm her boyfriend.
"Yeah yeah yeah." I went back to my room after grabbing a diet coke out of the fridge.
I took out a sheet of paper and started working on a new song.

Later, the melody was stuck in my head.
I was humming it and Joe walked by.
"Is that you humming Nick?" He asked.
"Uh, no. Maybe it's you. Yeah, ever thought of that?" I walked away, leaving a confused Joe.

The day went on and night came.
It was now morning.
Where was I? Driving, passing Joe and Lexy making out ON the picnic table. Can't they cut the PDA for at least a second?
I parked and got out.
"Hey Nick?" Ryan came over to me.
"What's up?"
"I'm having a party on Friday after the big game. You coming?"
"Most likely. Joe's going to drag me."
"Good, there's going to be a lot of drinking an-"
"I don't drink." I stated and started walking away.
"We all know you don't Nick!" Ryan laughed from behind. Some friend he is.

School went as usually and then football and finally singing class.
I walked in and found Alexa smiling at me.
"Let me guess, you're in this class too?" I said and laughed.
"Yup. This is so weird. Guitar, piano, theater, and now singing. This is amazing Nick." She kept smiling at me. That drop dead gorgeous smile.
"So... what do we do?"
"Well, new comers have to get to advance to start actually singing and writing. Me? I'm in advance. You have to get the singing coach's approve first." I walked over to who I presumed was the teacher and tapped her shoulder.
"Hi I'm Nick. I'm new to this class."
"Oh, you must be Mr. Jonas. I'm Mrs. Handoh. The beginners are over there, so why don't you go and joi-"
"I want to be in advance." I stated. She looked at me and laughed.
"It takes WEEKS or MONTHS to get into advance. What makes you think you're so good?"
"I'll sing."
"Alright, just don't break the windows. Seriously don't. We've had 4 broken windows so far." I rolled my eyes and began singing. I felt eyes burning on me.

I stopped, I wasn't even finished. Looking around, people were staring at me in awe. The teacher was in tears. My face grew red.
Everyone applauded and cheered.
"You, Nicholas, are a true genius! Did you write that all by yourself?" My teacher asked.
"Well yes, but it's not quite finished."
"Advanced for sure! You should try out for Broadway."
I gave her an assuring smile and walked back to Alexa.
"That was beautiful!"
"Thank you." I smiled.
She smiled back.
"What are we supposed to do now?" She snapped out of her little awe.
"Oh! Write songs. Want to be my partner? We have to do a duet though."
"I'd love to." I smiled at her as I sat down.
Love is right in front of me.

oh and the swine flu i had wasnt actually swine flu

i had a form of it a not so serious form but still a form

bad thing though is i felt better yesterday but then my best friends mom called and said my best friends little sister best friend relapsed and she had felt better than her fever shot back up

same thing happened with my best friend

i really hate this sickness
