This is exactly what I thought when I saw Spider-Man 3. Assuming There's a consistent timeline (and each film takes place about the year it came out) - I figured in the comic universe, Spider-Man would go to one of the many heroes populating NYC, rather than the friend he just pumpkin-bombed to the face.

wow, excellent work... going with the silver age approach i see... its good to see someone knows their comic books, unlike the makers of this film.

Yeah, I'm sure it'll more than make up for little things like this that we've seen along the way.

Well, the Marvel Universe is VERY connected these days. Up until just a few years ago, Superheros stuck to their own comic universe, and moments where they dealt with other superheros were rare and special occasions. Not anymore, now they interact with eachother all the time.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said of production houses.

What program did you use to put Spidey and Reed in the same frame?

Adobe After Effects. It's just frame-by-frame masking of the shot w/ Spidey layered over Reed.
