Format and partition NTFS external drives to FAT32 without losing space or data! (XBOX+PS3)win7

My first ever Tutorial on how to use only one drive to back up your pc, and store movies and music to play on your xbox 360 and ps3. This tutorial allows you to have full use of all your drive, it doesnt cut your space in half when formatting to FAT32!

Go to computer managment, Disc managment tab,
find your drive.
My external harddrive is split into 3 sections
already.

I will be modifying SPARE SPACE(J:)

Your defalut format should be NTFS, as is mine.
First split your drive to your desired partions.

I will srink it by about 13GB.The rest will
be called unallocated.
Right click and make a new simple volume.

Next open up Guiformat and find your new volume.

This is it, find your drive and use it.

Your drive is now FAT32 and NTFS.

Add files to your new dive like music, and enjoy

OHH FUCK i did what you did and all my things are gone 931GB free space now and EVERYTHING IS GONE GODDAMIT> i dont blame anyone tho

but can you maybe not make a misleading tittle? btw yea thanks for the FAT32 convertion ima try to play it on my ps3 if it works

@iAmAFan69 hey, what did u do to lose everything? all you had to do is shrink the drive so that 44gb turns unallocated then format that to FAT32.? dude if you want to try recover your stuff ill give u link to a program i use. any more help u need message me

allocation unit size 32768 Volume label was named ELEMENT format options Tick Quick FOmat and "start" then later it start the green bar was 3/4 not responding then responded i checked backed i saw 931 GB Free of 931GB i clicked it said "This folder is empty" i was like NOOO!! BUT YES PLEASE i want to recover it back Thanks for your help!!~
