President-elect Lee Myung-bak holds up the winner's certificate of the 17th presidential election, issued by the National Election Commission, at the headquarters of the Grand National Party in Seoul, 20 December 2007.
Are you suggesting that a democratically elected official is immune to criticism or protest, even in the face of proposals that the grand majority of the people do not support? There is plenty of information about Lee available that you can read for yourself.
And for the record, no George W. Bush was not elected democratically in 2000.
No I am sorry to say I have not been following the news about Lee. And you still haven't explained why you call him ultra-conservative, etc. We dont read too much about him in the US. He was democratically elected as was George Bush, right? Democracy isn't always good. Good governance is always good. So far, he seems to be ok.
Have you not been watching the news recently? My previous predictions, made two months ago (as of this posting), are unraveling as we speak. The national support for this monster lingers in the low 20% range, and tomorrow morning at 7:00am at Seoul City Hall the largest anti-Lee Myung-bak/impeachment support protest thus far will take place.
Everything I've believed to become true about this ultra-conservative parasite indeed has.
Tampa, so much hatred toward this president who was democratically elected. Care to explain why you have so much doubt and throw so many accusations on him? He just became president. What has he done in the past that angered you?
lee myung bak . . because of you . . people are going to hospitals, bleeding from the blows of your police! because of you . . our country is finished . . this is almost like 5.18 . .
But forgetting the past, look at what he plans to do to Korea. Korea needs some serious progress socially, environmentally, politically, and economically. Lee Myung-bak will keep South Korea in the 20th century, making it even harder for the country to advance in the future.
Lee Myung-bak is an ultra-conservative Christian son of a bitch that will lead South Korea down a road of complete paucity without any concern for the opinions of the Korean people.

Like fun he hasn't done anything.
