Date of jump was 9-30-09 just two days after my 18th birthday, I would've gone on my birthday but I was weathered out.
Right before the jump when I'm just sort of holding my legs still and he's waddling forward... Yes that was incredibly awkward feeling, I was instructed to do so as well.
As for putting my arms down randomly during the fall, not sure what I was doing, honestly...

When the guy was shaking my wrist he was trying to get me to look at the altimeter to pull the chute, but my retarded self didn't make the connection until he had already pulled it, you can see my hand go for the cable at my side.
