it's to get the shoppers attention to the Harry Potter book launch in an interesting way that relates back to what Harry Potter is all about...Magic!
Judging by the success of the launch and all books being pre-booked, and the reactions of the people... this was a huge success...

The spoon can be rotated by placing a small electric motor and a battery inside the cup
