  • hey,(i don't mind you being a vegetarian or even a vegan) but meat is an important part of vitamins and iron, which you can't get by eating flowers. Finally if everyone stop eating animals it will disrupt the natural balance and the entire earth will be overcome with animals and those animals would just ruin everything by "storming" the cities and it wouldnt be a fun world to live in. BUT i completely understand your point of view and i respect that, so this vid is a 5 stars and i love you man.

  • If we were to actually hunt animals rather than breed them to kill them then there'd be a slight possibility that your theory could happen... but the way things are setup now? Nah, wouldn't happen haha.

Most meat that you find nowadays (atleast in the states here) is rather terrible and you're gunna be getting some very poor meat. There isn't anything in meat that you can't get from other sources and after a year and a half of being a vegetarian I couldn't be happier with my choice.

  • Health benefits are the number one argument for going vegan or even just vegetarian.

Don´t tell em about the animals and stuff, they don´t want to hear! It´s too much choice to make at once. Once they felt how good it feels to only eat plants, their minds will open up to other aspects such as animal suffering as well. I experienced it first hand in myself, going vegan because of my health (chronic inflammation)...

Llamajuice: Cool thing you´re losing weight, I am too... :P

  • When I first started I did it just as a test of free will... then I looked into the health benefits and got hooked... it wasn't until over a year afterward that I watched Earthlings...

I thought that earthlings was so powerful that any non vegetarian would rethink their diet after watching it.

Thanks for the response and congrats on the weight loss!

    Take care!

  • ok, now i'm not so educated on the subject so i have to take your word for it. but one thing i can say is that sweden has good meat in the shops.

  • Too bad vegetarians are usually not healthy, asscaster

  • As do you. ;]

  • I don't know about how easy it is going Vegan, but it was rather easy to give up meat. I'm lacto-ovo and it wasn't difficult at all to make the jump.

Also, do you have a source to the "meat kills more than smoking" thing?

The reason why it's easier to want to quit smoking than to want to go veg is pretty obvious really. Everybody knows that smoking is bad for you, but most people assume that meat isn't bad for you. Until people see how terrible this is for your body they won't quit.

  • probably McDonalds. Problems relating to meat consumption kill more people than smoking does each year. People are also more willing to quit smoking than go veg it seems... even tho going veg is pretty easy i think.

  • This reminds me of something I was wondering the other day... What's more unhealthy for you? McDonalds?.... or Smoking?
