Last time on webisode 6 of Review the World Television, Brian Hammons and Tim Chesnut put Jackie Chan's green tea under the microscope for reviewing.

But, Brian mentioned that back in the 80's Jackie Chan had an unsung game on the old 8 bit Nintendo Entertainment System...

Now, Young Master Timothy of TIMISTHEMAN.COM infamy has taken it upon himself to analyze Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu for the NES! Viewers beware, as this game reeks of awesomeness and frog bashingness that will leave vegetarians, PETA members, and Kermit the Frog gasping in dismay!

To put to death some rumors, Tim is absolutely NOT trying to make angry any internet celebrities act. We've never even heard of this "AVGN" person. Would he perhaps like to buy a vowel for that name? I could probably take him. I've trained in shoren-ryu karate, moo duk kwan tae kwon do, jiu jitsu, high school wrestling, and I have studiously watch the movies of Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Steven Seagal, Chuck Norris, and Jet Li along with ultimate fighting for so many years that I ought to be an expert.

If your name is James Rolfe... please don't hurt me. I'm just kidding and am really kinda weak. If you're the Ask a Ninja ninja, please don't kill me! If you're the Irrate Gamer... you suck!

Jackie Chan, of course, is known for his works as a stunt man for Bruce Lee in the movies Fists of Fury (of the Chinease Connection here in the United States) and Enter the Dragon. He has also carved out his own star as a kung fu practicioner and slap stick comedy genious in the same spirit as Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin. His films include 36 Crazy Fists, Fearless Hyena, Snake in the Eagle's Shadow, Spiritual Kung Fu, Drunk Master, Police Story, Twin Dragons, Wheels on Meals, Miracles: Mr. Canton and Lady Rose, My Lucky Stars, Master With Cracked Fingers, Karate Ghostbuster, Dragons Forever (with his training brothers Yuen Biao and Martial Law's Sammo Hung), Gorgeous, Rumble in the Bronx, Supercop, Jacky Chen's First Strike, Mister Nice Guy, Who Am I?, Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon, Shanghai Knights, Operation Condor, Armor of God: The Armour of the gods, the Medallion, the Tuxedo, Legend, Around the World in 80 Days, Kung Fu Panda, Chinese Zobiac, Asian Hawk, Spartan X, The Forbidden Kingdom, Rob-B-Hood, the Twins Effect, the Accidental Spy, Thunderbolt, City Hunter, Crime Story, Project A, the Protector, Cannon Ball Run, the Big Brawl, Battle Creek Brawl, Fantasy Mission Force, the Young Master, Half a Loaf of Kung Fu, Killer Meteors, To Kill with Intrigue, All in the Family, Shaolin Chamber of Death, Hand of Death, Magnificent Bodyguards.

EDIT (3/19/08): The Nerd just uploaded a Jackie Chan video, too! Who's copying who now? James, I accept your surrender.

  • Ummmm ok not bad ...but why does he look like James the angry video game nerd ,i mean from the shirt to the pens ..........

  • @merangkillbots Originally I was going to start up my own series of reviews, and I wanted to show how I was going to be different from the AVGN by doing this episode trying to emulate him, and then switching to the Hawaiin shirt and going with a more laid back approach, as compared to his angry approach. Alas, I discovered reviewer Kwing was already doing the style I wanted to do, and he's better at it anyway... so this is the only episode I ever made.

  • your right you are not the angry video game nerd but really if your gonna do this do your thing but dont be no one esle or your gonna get ass raped by people for trying to be like someone else...good luck

  • Are you asking me out?

  • I have to agree with you the irate gamer is terrible

and I actually owned this game when it came out it was awesome

  • A lot of people dislike him cuzz they think he rips off the AVGN, but I don't mind that. I've thought about reviewing the same games as the AVGN did before just because I thought he missed something or I disagreed with him. Besides, if you make a video, chances are there's something similar out there somewhere. My problem with the Irate Gamer is that I just don't think he's that funny. My favorite review show is Aussie reviewer Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw's Zero Punctuation show.

  • One of the BEST games of NES ever.

  • gay

  • The bosses were not too weak, Jackie Chan was too strong.

  • i've been watching this fucking piece of shit video for 2 minutes now and this fucking fat fuck hasn't even started to talk about the fucking game.

  • Why does he look like a little kid in overalls?

  • It's actually interesting that you mentioned the game known as just plain old "Kung-Fu", as that game WAS a Jackie-Chan game, too. It was loosely based off of the movie "Wheels on Meals". The reason that the game had such a non-specific title in the U.S., I think, is because Jackie Chan was so unknown in the U.S. at the time. Despite this, though, the manual for the game still used the names of the characters from the movie, such as Thomas (the name of Chan's character) and Silvia.

  • POLICE STORY is the best movie i've seen so far

  • @enterjokehere One Only good thing about Chuck norris is his Jokes made about him ahahhahahahahahhaha

  • @IoAndTitan agreed on that one
