Racism in the Iranian/Persian Community

Is there Racism in the Iranian Community?

Are Iranian racist? Do we feel ethnically superior vs. Afghans ?
Why is there tension between the different Iranians even outside of Iran? ie Muslims vs. Jews vs. Christians, Kurds vs. Pars
What do you think about jokes on Iranian ethnicities?
What's the root cause of this/any racism?
Is it problematic if different Iranian ethnicities could teach in their own ethnic language, while requiring Persian/Farsi as a language course?

Though racism is no joking matter, what better way to fight against negative stereotypes than through laughter? Cultural awareness is one of the most effective ways to decrease discrimination and laughter enables people to diminish their hostilities toward people of other ethnic and cultural backgrounds. But, is there really a fine line between the shades of gray? When does it get out of hand? We read and discussed some of your comments, and finally asked an astute student of psychology to chime in on how racism is derived both geographically and historically in Iran.

We have only to blame ourselves for not being organized enough to inform the western world about Iran's treatment of its ethnic minorities. Not only is hatred of these minorities practiced by Iranian government officials, it is endemic within Iranian society even here in the United States.

I agree, actually azeris are more racist than ethnic persians, not all but many, especially the ones in government level, but there is ethnic persians who are friends with iranian azeris, but what I said at the start that is racism.

@ Rabgein The only Reason Why Persian Women are hot its because They have facial proportions from many Races like Arabs,Indians,Turks,Kurds. for instance Arab Almond eye,European Diamond face,Small Lips,Semitic Eagle hooked Nose,light skin...etc I don't Know Why Persians think they're superior because their Women are Dazzling LOL Persian Pride = Naked Iranian womens. bullshit, Azeris/Azaries are ancient Eranic peoples who are getting brainwashed by Turks, but we will not fall for we have a great amount of Azeries who resist those pan-Turksits and attach to their original homeland name Azarabadegan or Attur-padegaan both Eranic/Airiyan names, and are proud to be Eranian Airiyans, consider me 2/3 Azeri, one of them!
