  • How often should you calibrate your scale?

  • It is good to calibrate your scale once a year. It's best to use a 1 pound or 1 kilogram test weight OR use a pre-weighed box of at least 1 pound. An easy way to do this is to have a box weighed at the local post office or even the supermarket deli. I bag of sugar or flour in a box works perfectly for this.

  • Yes, you can calibrate with grams but it is best to use as heavy a weight as possible. 2 KG's is a good weight for calibration.
