Do you use the potentiometer to change the time the LED is lit? Also, could you post a list of your components for this video?

I do have a monster computer... in fact it's name is ThE MonSteR...
3.01 GHZ, 2 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD (raid)...
4 years old!!! no shit!
and no that is not the ultra-x. it's a cheep ass key that set me back 3$ US...

the 555 is used for charging the cap... that is all. it's a timer for multi perpus use... not a led driver..
