@EJG5150 shit 1984 was a huge tone as well...but there was starting to be a difference on panama hot for teacher etc. diver down it was ALL still there...its not only the amps but guitars as well...new ones Eddie uses are shit

I agree totally with the tone discussion. His tone now sounds to processed. The amp and pedals are doing all the work. Fair Warning tone was by far the best.

@dmohr7 I don't think you can call his tone now the Brown Sound cause his old pickups were overwound too... it's the amp

I heard Eddie Refers to his current tone as the "OFF-WHITE TONE." Wierd huh? And you're right his Fair Warning Tone was probably the best.
