Phrases played clean, no Reverb, positions only void of a lot of embellishment. These are however the correct positions on the fretboard. There are a lot of things to learn on this simple piece. The B+C pedals are used in the upper register. Esxperiment with this one!

  • wow! and I thought playin piano was hard...this is incredible....

  • Jealous. Where I live, it's very difficult to find a handful of people with the respect and passion for true country music and musicianship. This is truly amazing. Thanks for your response.

  • John Hughey was a great friend of mine and he told me that Paul had played on the record. The song came out right before John joined Vince Gill's band.

  • How do you people KNOW this stuff!? I wish I was "in the know" like that.

  • Thanks .

  • Actually,Paul Franklin played on this record because John was on steel with Loretta Lynn at the time this song came out. After this record, Paul suggested that John play steel with Vince, and John went on tour with Vince and played on his records from Pocketful of Gold to The Key.

  • Great stuff!
