@irrelevent100 I was referring to the electoral college. As they went through each state, Reagan was winning in every region of the country, even in those states Republicans normally didn't win back then(i.e. Mass., R.I.). Reagan won almost 98% of the electoral vote, and he barely lost Mondale's home state. I believe the nation was fairly unified that night.
