I think having a walkway above adds some dramatic feel over the road. Imagine firing down on the vehicles as the hurry past underneath. :) 4 inches sounds doable and I already have some ideas on how to lift the system up using the remaining bits and plasticard. Thanks for the info!

Personally I would just not have it cross the dame street as the arched one, or perhaps even not at all. In fact that end cap suggests the pipes going underground, which is a logical way of getting past a road.

At least four inches I would guess from the few vehicles I have. However you could also construct a ramp for either side of the pipe lines, perhaps with a grate over top. Im pretty sure Ive seen that sort of thing done in real life chemplants as well. However looking at the video they might be somewhat high for that. Making it a whole bridge more then a ramp.

Great looking city. I've made some notes for when I get back to assembling buildings.

lpove the avartars of war minis at the start of the vidio in the wood lol i love that work defently wip tho lol
Looks good as always, but the citys of death stuff is very good stuff. A pain to paint all the details on mind you but very nice once finished.
Anyhow, the one thing I feel could be corrected is this, the walkway pipelines are arching over the road to allow for vehicles of all sizes to pas under. This is a common practice in chemplants. However the pipe wall is crossing the road and blocking all passage, making the arching somewhat pointless.

Oh, hey that's a great point. Any idea what would be a good minimum height to aim for? (I don't own any 40k vehicles.) Not sure how I can lift it up but I am sure I can find a way.
Thanks for the observation!

looks great, but I always like to DIY terrain.....

I think there are good fits for both. It is hard to argue with the quality and detail of the Imperial sector materials. And, since you assemble and paint them to your own preferences (and believe me that is an undertaking for a quality job) you get the best of DIY and commercial quality.
