I work on the wheel for the first time in a good long time and talk about being unemployed / self employed and a bit about what it takes to be happy. Looking back at the video, I could have just narrated over myself throwing instead of skipping around in the editing process. Maybe next time. Part of me likes the stream of consciousness babble at the wheel though.

  • You have the mind of a true artist

  • A self contained philosophy of creativity like yours doesn't always work in the world outside. I have to be critically aware. I am poet and writer, so perhaps my take is off. Your idea about excepting things is good though.

  • Yes, but what if you're in a slow line and "Big Brother" is coming on TV soon? I mean, some of us have urgent and important commitments such as that to attend to!

  • Thanks man that really helped me today

  • thanks for this video. I was pretty bummed about my current situation, but your absolutely right. The situation is what it is. I just need to do my best to get through it and find the silver lining. ^^

  • I really enjoy the combination of watching you work with clay while you talk. It's very soothing.

  • What you've said isn't really "zen", but just a way of stating something I learned a long time ago. Happiness is a CHOICE! It doesn't mean you'll never get bummed out, but if the foundation of your existance is to choose to be happy, the low points are generally shorter, and the good times far more prevalent. Great Message! And loved watching clay formed into some really pretty shapes as you worked it! :-)

  • You say a lot of truth here. I also am so appreciative of the fact that I usually don't have to rush.
