It's so hard to get that second scout in! If I go early sair I sacrifice precious reaver time. I get cracked like an egg.

Why did you decide (and even plan) to drop at all?
Shouldn't you just exploit immobility of his tank army to get the whole map?

this video covers that mistake exactly, overextending vs mech when he clearly wanted me to drop etc. You often want to drop vs mech simply for the fact that his army is quite immobile, and you will be able to do a lot of damage in his main and really slow him down if its succesful.
dropping would have been fine, but I should have delayed it a bit more. It's easy to get impatient when things are just sitting around and you have a good economy etc.

Why would you go 2 hat against mech over 3 hatch? I try to use 13 pool 13 gas (2.5 hatch build) vs mech nowdays, as somone said in a guide. Can you say something about that? Why 2 hatch is prefered over 3 hatch.

Both work, but 3 hatch is a lot more risky because its harder to fight against various possible harassments the terran can come up with. For example it might be very hard to do anything against 2 port wraith with 3 hat build, but with 2 hat your spire is almost ready. Same for some other builds too, such as dropping vultures, etc.
Yes, you can manage with 3 hat but its harder at times, and a bit more risky.
