In order to keep the earth healthy, it is important that we seek out alternative methods of energy. Using solar panels reduces CO2 because there is no pollution that is creating by absorbing the suns light. We are therefore decreasing the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere because there is no pollution emitted from active solar panels. Solar energy reduces our use and dependence on fossil fuels. In addition, once installed, the solar panels have minimal maintenance for the owners. Although there is an initial start up cost to installing the panels, we found that those people who live in a sunny climate could save an incredible amount of money on their energy bills over a thirty-year time span. Use solar energy to save the planet—it is one-step you can take to making this world a better place for future generations.
