St. Norbert's was honored to have Fr. John Zuhlsdorf say Mass on the 19th Sunday after Pentecost 2010. This is the homily that he gave at the 11am Mass.

Fr. John Zuhlsdorf , also known as Fr. Z. runs the daily Catholic blog What does the prayer really say. You can visit his blog at: www.wdtprs.com

  • A sort of Donatism will always be lurking within the Church, I guess.

  • @ToryAnarchist

Please explain. The homily sounds exactly opposed to Donatism. Or were your making an observation based on the whole of the homily?

  • @matt0098 he runs a blog and explained it all in a post.

  • .....do you know him?

  • @AnotherAppleMacbook He does not have a normal parish cause he isn't assigned at this time ( but he was assigned to some other parishes before now). Now he is working on his doctorate while living in the US with the permission of his bishop, the bishop of Velletri-Sengi, a suburbicarian see.

  • solid message.

    apply it.

  • @AnotherAppleMacbook

My understanding is he doesn't have one.

  • What is his normal parish church?

  • @stnorberts I was making an observation based on the whole of the homily. Fr. Z, as the greater part of the time, hits the nail right on the head. Thanks for the video. I'd never actually seen him apart from photos. He seems to be a bit chubbier than I thought :-D
