January 15th, 2012 in Lamar Valley, Yellowstone National Park. The predation occurred close to the road near the first pullout as you enter Lamar Valley from Lamar Canyon. The two or three wolves in the first few frames are the ones who brought down the elk. The rest of the pack came about a half hour later to join in the feast. Truly amazing to watch nature in it's rawest moments, predator-prey, as it's been since life began on earth.
@JimWinter1, Thanks for your reply. This pack was in the Lamar Canyon Pack territory so I'm assuming they're the Lamar Canyon Pack.

Great job filming this. The music goes so well with these beautiful animals. Looks like you were able to view them in without crowds of people around. Which pack is this? Thanks
