Sounds like you were painting TJ as a nihilist, which I don't doubt he is, but you'd probably be surprised to learn you may be a nihilist, too. All it entails is believing that there are no objective morals and that the universe and everything in it has no objective purpose behind, the exact opposite of objectivism I think. I got my own morals and purposes that I assign myself and various things and there are plenty of others with different and sometimes conflicting morals and purposes.
